Timini Egbuson, a prominent figure in Nollywood, has declared his intention to take a sabbatical from acting next year. In a conversation with content creator Kamsi Nnamani on a recent podcast, Egbuson shared his experiences of the demanding nature of his career, which often limited him to only five to six hours of sleep nightly due to his constant work on set. Egbuson, who has been in the acting industry for fourteen years without significant breaks, expressed a need for a hiatus, emphasizing that his non-stop work schedule wasn’t a point of pride but a testament to his dedication and divine support. Reflecting on his entry into the acting world, he mentioned that his initial involvement was to accompany his sister, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, on sets, which eventually sparked his love for acting.
