Kunle Ayanlowo, a former lead drummer for the legendary Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, known as Kwam1 or K1, has made serious allegations against the singer, describing his experience in the band as akin to slavery. Ayanlowo shared that during their travels, Kwam1 frequently took their passports, leaving the band members without any explanation for his actions. Furthermore, Ayanlowo recounted a particularly distressing incident where, despite being on his way to the hospital for urgent medical treatment, Kwam1 encountered him and instructed him to return home, neglecting his immediate health needs.
This alleged neglect led to Ayanlowo suffering from an ulcer, a condition he claims still affects him to this day. Ayanlowo’s grievances extend beyond this incident, as he reflected on his 32 years with K1, expressing regret over not achieving anything significant for himself or his family during this time. He also warned of holding Kwam1 accountable if anything untoward happens to him, indicating a deep-seated concern for his own safety and well-being. These revelations come amidst other controversies surrounding Kwam1, including denied allegations of affairs that have reportedly caused turmoil within his household.
