A Night to Remember
The 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs) concluded in grand style on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, leaving a trail of glitz, glamour, and recognition in its wake. The star-studded event, held at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos, Nigeria, was a resounding success, celebrating the finest achievements in African filmmaking and television. Among those lauding the organizers for a well-executed ceremony was prominent Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham.
Toyin Abraham’s Praise
Abraham, a multiple AMVCA nominee and winner herself, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the organizers’ efforts. “The 2024 AMVCAs were truly a night of excellence,” she remarked in a post-show interview. “The entire event was so well-organized, from the nominations to the ceremony itself.
